The NFL’s female players will meet with the owners of the NFL’s 32 teams in the coming weeks to discuss the issue of domestic violence and how they are handling it.
The women’s coaches and other players will also discuss the impact of the league’s controversial drug policy on their teams, as well as the impact the league has had on the lives of players and families in the community.
The meeting will be held at the league office on Dec. 8 and 9.
The owners will hold the meeting during their season, with the league having set up a hashtag #WomenOffToWork on social media for the day of the event.
