The forum of 7OAKs women’s forums has created a new conversation about feminism.
“When I first started the forum I thought it was just for women and girls,” said one moderator.
“But I have found it’s been very important for a lot of women.”
“It has been a very empowering thing to see the conversations that have been sparked by women coming forward and sharing their experiences with rape and sexual violence,” said another moderator.
The 7OASM Women’s Forum, which was founded by women after being raped by their boyfriends, has hosted forums for about 20 years, including one that was set up by former president Gloria Steinem.
It has a women’s council, which includes some former Steinem staffers.
One moderator of the forum, who declined to be named because she has not been identified publicly, said the forum had a lot to offer.
It’s been a lot about what we see in the media, and that’s really important.
There is so much to discuss and it’s a real eye opener for us.
There’s so much I want to share about how this community has been so valuable for me.
In some ways, the forum has helped me see the power in speaking up.
It’s also helped me understand the power of women.
It taught me a lot and it made me a better person.
I just want to say thank you for everything that you’ve done for me, and for all of the women and men that have come forward to share their stories.
